CVGB – Evening Slate 11.27

Due to Turkey Day travel and delays in price dropping by DraftKings we were kind of handcuffed this evening too! When this happens our fall back is always the CVGB. That is where we give you guys Cash, Value, GPP, and Bust plays for the slate. It’s less time consuming for us and still allows us to put out quality relevant content. Below we have the evening slate written up and we are ready to serve it to you like Thanksgiving Dinner.

We have 6-game evening slate highlighted by a Seton Hall-Oregon matchup that will be must watch TV. The slate also has more Landers Nolley, the 47 postmen from Gonzaga, a few playable Wildcats and the incomparable Myles Powell.

What Trenton Makes the World Takes – Gus Johnson

This is our last piece for the website prior to Thanksgiving. As we give thanks it is important for us to acknowledge that there would be no @CBBDFS or cbb-dfs.com without you, our Bucketheads. We appreciate all the replies and retweets; likes and listens. We are thankful for you.

THANK YOU!

Cash Plays

These are the even keel plays of the day. Players with high floors that we expect to get 4x fairly easily. First we have Xavier Johnson. X has 4x+ in 4 of 7 games this year and playing against a Northwestern team that allows a lot of 3s and gives up a lot of assists. Toolson was the focus of KU’s defensive efforts yesterday and it showed. VT won’t play that kind of D so Jake is an easy 4x tonight. Horne wraps up our trio as he is now getting closer to 30 minutes making him a safe play.

JAKE TOOLSON720028.8
PJ HORNE510020.4

Value Plays

These are players under 4500 that we think will exceed 4x the value. We all found guys at 4400 that we feel good about. Miller Kopp has scored double digit points in every game this season, making him a high floor value play. Myles Cale plays more minutes in bigger games, and Quincy Guerrier is coming off a season high in minutes and has two games with more than 24 DK.

VALUE PLAYS (>4x)PRICE4x
MILLER KOPP (F)440017.6
MYLES CALE (G/F)440017.6
QUINCY GUERRIER (F)440017.6

GPP Plays

So with our GPP picks we are talking high ceiling guys. They need 5x to count as a win in our competition, but these are guys we think could potentially 6, 7, or 8x tonight. Girard is a sharp-shooter that has seen a huge uptick in minutes over the last 3 games, resulting in an average of 30 DK points over that span. Tshiebwe has gone 14-45-13-50-12 in 5 games making him the ultimate GPP play. Ryan Young has gone 5x in 3 of his last 4 games.

GPP PLAYS (>5x)PRICE5x
JOSEPH GIRARD III (G)570028.5
OSCAR TSHIEBWE (F)620031.0
RYAN YOUNG (F)570028.5

Bust Predictions

Bust plays are notable players we think will disappoint today. Players that will finish under their 4x price tag. The first that came to mind was Boban. The 6’9 256lb Sr. is averaging 17 and 6, including impressive offensive rebounding stats, but hard to trust him against the massive front line of the Zags, who are a top 15 D and 8th best in the nation at preventing offensive boards. We love P2 here @CBB_DFS, but this is most about tonight’s price king needing 34.8 while getting checked by Quincy McKnight, an elite perimeter defender for Seton Hall. Pritchard has also failed to top 34.8 in 2-of-3. While Haley has two big games on his resume, he also has three games under 23 DK and is 4th on the team in shot rate.
