This morning the three of us went 8-of-12 on CVGB predictions, and were a perfect 3-for-3 with our value plays. No reason to think we won’t keep it going tonight.
Cash Plays
These are the steady Eddies. Players with high floors that we expect to get 4x. James and I went to the UConn and Buffalo game, and why not. The o/u was 150+ and the line was tight. Byrd went to his B12 base and is going with Texas Tech’s Davide Morretti stating that he should get his against a very bad defense before this game gets out of hand.

Value Plays
These are players under 4500 that we think will exceed 4x the value. Byrd kicked us off with Shaq’s kid, a former 4-star recruit who just needs minutes. James took Goodin, a veteran wing for X that has a nice minute share. I went with LeBlanc, who is still working his way out of Patrick Ewing’s dog house. They’ll need his athleticism tonight against Texas.

GPP Plays
So with our GPP picks they need 5x to count as a win in our competition. We went 2 for 3 with our GPP choices this morning hitting Nembhard and Lamont West, only missing on Chris Lykes (who was 40% owned). Elleby really needs to smash to get 5x, but he can do it and has done it many times. Ramey is the definition of boom or bust. Jeenathan Williams seems like a lock.

Bust Predictions
We all took bigs for our bust plays. James acknowledged Vernon Carey’s upside, but thinks the Golden Bears can keep this match-up tighter than anticipated limiting his upside. I chose Carlton from UConn as he has a hard time getting going in pacey match-ups thus far. Byrd is off of Yurtseven and Georgetown as a whole even suggesting game bettors load up on the Longhorns tonight.
